When is the next public show?
We open to the public on the two Saturdays following Thanksgiving. Check The Dispatch Board for exact dates as the season approaches.
How often does Stamford Model Railroad Club meet?
Club members typically meet each Tuesday.
How do I join a meeting for the first time?

Do I have to be a member to participate?
Yes. The club is a members-only facility outside of our annual public shows. Contact us if you're interested in joining to set up an exploratory visit.
Do you accept old train collections? (Donations, etc.)
Please contact us and we'll do our best to help find a good home for your collection.
What is 2-rail O scale?
2-rail O scale is 1:48 realistic scale model railroading. The tracks and trains typically represent real-life prototypes in shape and size.
There is no third rail here! On our railroad, power is DC electricity supplied from one rail to the other. Our trolley line is powered from overhead catenary down through the true-to-scale rails.
